Electro 5D no sound/no LEDs

Hi all-

Longtime Nord Electro 5D user, I’ve never had an issue before last night at rehearsal. When turning off the delay effect, all of the LEDs on the front panel shut off and the keyboard wouldn’t make any sound. The OLED screen was on as normal. I could not find any button press that would fix the issue. Powering the keyboard off and then on again worked as normal and I couldn’t replicate the problem.

I’m just wondering if anybody has had this issue and knows what the culprit is? I just don’t want to have this become a recurring problem if I’m on stage. Thanks in advance!

HI, first thing I'd suggest is to open your NE5D and check if the ribbon cables connecting panel to mainboard are well seated on both connectors ends (best is to unplug them, apply some electrical contact cleaner, wait till it dries up then replug).
