Recently bought a new Electro 6 and am slowly getting to know it.Not sure I have a problem with it or it just might be me.Sometimes, not always, when I want to edit a sound, either add some more top end to piano,I select piano on the equalizer effects section and the P red light comes on,then it immediately goes out so can not edit sound.Same generally for all the effects parameters at times....select engine red light comes on then goes out. Then if I try again, say 5 mins later its all OK and I can edit.
Any thoughts please,is it maybe because I'm altering stuff here and there and its running out of memory until it catches up.Or do I have a fault.
Thanks..
Richard.

Re: Editing sounds question.
So, you are activating (pressing ON/OFF) the desired Effect section and then doing Shift+ON/OFF(or double tapping the ON/OFF) of that section to select the source (as explained in NE6 manual, paragraph 8 "Activating Effects"), correct?
Because you can also select the source for an inactive effect, but the selection in itself will not activate it, so unless it was already active on another source you have to turn it on explicitly
