Does the "Monitor In" being not functional on the NE5 ?

I used to use the Mackie 402 VLZ3 as my home mixer, but I now use Steinberg UR44. Its very good when you want to play alongside tracks from Spotify, My mac uses UR44 as its sound card, and this external sound card/mixer is excelent to use togheter with DAWs like Logic X. You should take a look at it- very versatile. The noise level is close to 0, but on Mackie 402 I could hear som low hiss.

Yes, this is Nord's design decision. I find their implementation useless. I wish it was like the Yamaha CP4 where I can plug another audio source into the CP4 and hear it via the CP4 outputs along with the CP4 sound. I find this to be a very useful design.

The Steinberg is more expensive so I gess I am going to get the Mackie. Matter of budget.

Does anyone know what the jumpers do next to the Monitor In on the E5D - have a look at the photo. Just wondering if they route the Monitor In to Headphone or Stereo Out.
