CTRL (Vol ped) function on Synth and Piano @ external kbd

I'm sure this has been asked previously-- so forgive the repeat. I use an SL88 midi keyboard as part of my standard rig. I usually send 6D's piano and synth programs LOW --to use the SL's nice, fully weighted Fatar keybed. I usually leave the organ high for the 6D's waterfall keys-- naturally the organ's swell (volume) pedal works fine up high. It ALSO works fine if I send the organ low, to external (SL) keyboard. However, the volume control DOES NOT work on either piano or synth sounds sent to the external keyboard however. And, I'd especially like to use the volume pedal on the synth sounds-- to be able to fade strings, voices, melotrons etc in and out of my piano playing. Nope. The only way is the synth engine works down low is through the vol knob.

I can connect a second volume pedal to the external keyboard but it fades all the sounds played externally and can't separate between piano and synth. It's weird that Nord allowed the "CTRL" switch to work on the organ engine but not the Piano or Synth engines.

Any ideas or recommendations? JT
