Is your meaning to be: volume balance between upper and lower manuals?

That's exactly what I meant. For the B3 and Vox models it's OK, but with the Farf model it's difficult to get a usable (mellow) left-hand sound that isn't too quiet. Could be that I'm just not used to that sort of instrument.

Thanks for the welcome Hanon. I've owned my E3-73 for a bit over a year (and an E2-61 for a year before that). I use it mostly for jazz piano (BlueSwede is my favorite), and really enjoy the simplicity and usability.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but this is a great discussion.
