The only thing you will have to consider, Tom, apart from what has already been discussed is a matching velocity curve: You will only enjoy your piano controller if it suits with the "Nordisk" velocity curve. Best would be your controller can be adjusted. Second best solution: a MIDI converter (like MIDI Solutions Velocity Converter) which isn't really cheap.

Thanks everyone, that's great. Half pedalling shouldn't be an issue as I'm not a classical player. Matching the velocity is a big concern that I had already been thinking about, I realise I'm rolling the dice on that one. I had been looking at getting a new controller keyboard with some curve presets to give me options.
