Re: 2.0 update causes loud pop between program switch
Stage 3 had a similar ptoblem when changing programs. But I don't think it had anything to do with the new EP's...
It was fixed in the latest update.

True. I guess I want to avoid doing that again, and having to do it a 3rd time if/when a fix is released. I'm a weekend warrior and it's getting increasingly difficult to carve out a couple hours to dick around in the sound manager. (Off topic, but I think the new EP sounds are a noticeable improvement).jeltz wrote:You could use Nord sound manager and substitute command to replace the v6 EP samples with previous ones. All your programs will remain unchanged (except the EP sound of course, which could sound differently) However I didn't notice too much difference in old and new EP samples. In my opinion there isn't any pops during sound change, when you're using v5.3 EP samples.
I did get a response from Pablo on my bug report, he said Clavia is investigating. I've gotten better at turning down the volume when I change programs in the meantime ...

Re: 2.0 update causes loud pop between program switch
Just experienced loud pops when I loaded a new sample on to my Ne6 and tried to play the sample....! The sample didn’t play back properly either. Had to reboot the NE to get things right...
Re: 2.0 update causes loud pop between program switch
Anyone tried with the new 2.0.2 update to see if there is any improvement in this issue?

FYI...heard from Pablo regarding this today. Apparently hq is aware of the issue but cannot reproduce the symptoms on their end. They're working on it...

Re: 2.0 update causes loud pop between program switch
Hi,
I'm also getting clicks on the NE5 with 2.0 FW, every time I switch from one specific program to the next.
The click volume is proportional to the "GAIN" button of the first (exiting) program: If I turn down gain to 0, there is no click. If I set it to e.g. 5, the click is less loud.

And I was worried - all the way down to the ground
