Hi!
The PDS-10 is quite expensive indeed.
The PDS-10 in the picture has a mount holding a base plate that is only compatible with Roland devices,
you can't use that plate for the Nord Drum2/Pad, in stead you will have to use the 'stand holder' that comes with the Nord Drum2 and Pad,
So when you buy a PDS-10 you can trash the Roland base plate, the mount is the essential bit, and the PDS-2 doesn't seem to have such a mount to hold the Nord Pad or Nord Drum2 'stand holder',
You can replicate the PDS-10 with Pearl stuff: have a look at the solution suggested by Pablo here:
http://www.norduserforum.com/nord-drum- ... t5717.htmlHowever, that particular Pearl stand is no longer available,
perhaps the Pearl C-830 is also suitable [<Edit : No, it is not, see below posts of 20 July 2018] - however, when I add it all up, the replica becomes more expensive than the PDS-10...
I once took a straight cymbal stand, removed the upper section, to put the ND2 with its mount right on top, (disadvantage = can't adjust the angle) and I used the AX25-L to attach the Nord Pad
Perhaps you should visit your local music store, ask the drums/hardware department for a creative but not too expensive solution,
the diameter of the Nord stand holder is 23mm according to the manual
Cheers,
Albert
