Nord Drum 3p pad coming off
Two of my Nord Drum 3 pads are slightly lifting up on the corners. Can I just use super glue or some other adhesive and stick them back down? They still function fine, but I don’t want the problem to get worse. Any info or adhesive recommendations?

Easy fix. I used an epoxy mixture and then placed a heavy book on top of the the pads to keep pressure on them for several hours.

Re: Nord Drum 3p pad coming off
I just bought a brand new Nord Drum 3p - and some of the pad edges were coming up (the glue was coming loose). I pressed them back down - and I'll try to leave something heavy on them tonight.. but they are coming back up. I could take it back... but - that seems like more work than just fixing it. Are these pads usually good for the life of the instrument - or do people replace them every few years? I wouldn't want to use the wrong glue - or use a serious epoxy that couldn't easily be removed. Any advice in that realm? : )

Re: Nord Drum 3p pad coming off
Just use an epoxy like I did. It came in two separate small tubes that you mix together on a plate or in a bowl. It doesn't take much at all. I used a pop cycle stick to lightly spread the epoxy and a toothpick for smaller crevices. Don't over do it and have the epoxy gushing out as it's hard to clean off...like I said it doesn't take much. Clean up your work and set a book on top of the pads for 24 hours. Worked great for me and the pads haven't lifted again. The pads are not user replaceable as far as I know and I'm sure an epoxy was used to glue them down to begin with.
