I think that I will follow your idea & find a solution this way , thank you very much

There are some official images from Microsoft https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/m ... tools/vms/ (for development purposes, fully working but they are time limited) and others you may find searching the web (but be careful...), on the other hand you can just create the VM "blank" then attach to it a .iso image of the installation CD Rom (of the Windows version you want to use) and then do the normal install process just as you would with a "real" computer.

Re: Convert nd2p to sysex ?
Yes,
I think that's the way to go. And although the website states that it's compatible with Win XP, Vista, 7 and 8, the Nord Drum 2 Manager works fine on my Win 11 system, so I think you can basically pick any version of Windows..
The other route seems too complicated. You can more or less see the programs within the bank file as shown in your screenshots. When I transfer a bank to the ND2 with the Manager, and then dump the first program of that bank back to my PC, I can't align the bytes of the sysex dump of the single program with the stretch of bytes of the bank file. When I intercept the sysex of the bank as it is sent to the ND2 by the Manager, I can't discover any similarities with the other 2 stretches of bytes. I decided not to look into this any further, as there is a better solution for your problem...

Re: Nord Drum 2 Manager on OS X 10.4 or later
Just an update. I tried to install the windows version of Nord Drum 2 manager on my mac using Crossover.
And it seems to start up and I can select a midi IN/OUT device. I don't own a ND2, so I can't verify if it really works.
