Re: Kicks on the Nord Drum 3p
Hi JotaTiyus,
I’m not sure if I can help you, my ND2 sounds are not compatible with the 3p, and I bet you are after completely different sounds than I am.. But I do find the ND2 is easy to edit, and I bet the 3p is too.
If you have a clear idea of what you want, or a recording, try to dissect the sound; how low is the frequecy, do you hear any overtones, how does the sound decay, etc. If you keep that in mind, start with an ‘empty’ (default) sound and work towards the sound you want. Usually you will stumble upon some interesting other sounds in the process, you can always keep those as well, and before you know it, you have a complete bank full of sounds that you created yourself! Another good way to start is scanning through the factory banks, to see if anything comes close, start tweaking from there. Unfortunately there aren’t that many 3p banks here nor on the Nord website, apart from the factory banks there is the Albin Westerlind bank that you may want to check out, if you hadn’t already..
Have fun experimenting, creating and playing!

Re: Kicks on the Nord Drum 3p
Thanks a lot Albert!!
All the experience iv got so far is with machine drums where you tweak the sound but you don´t actualy design it. That's why i was intereseted in the Nord Drum, but I wasn't aware of how little shared patches there are! So ill just start creating my own.
cheers!
