Using the delay for Ambience

Postby flmc59 » 09 Jul 2012, 01:09

Delay tempo 10 = shortesr
Ammount ~ 6
Feedback 1 or two
Swell led off

This creates an extra but if ambience.
The click becomes a bit more complex.

Try and report back if you like it.

If you want an old school sound.
Put the click to high or highet and back of the treble to the 9:00 or 10:00 position. This mimics the earlier leslies that rollef off above 6000 hz

I've finally gotten around to trying this, to add another dimension to the reverb, but without audible "repeats". Thanks for the idea.

I might mention (I just might, don't dare me) that the right "delay" setting and playing adds up to a great "arpeggiator" effect. Too much "reverb" dulls the effect.
