Hey all you Nord Wizards. Does anyone know if it is possible on the C2d to run bass sounds out of a separate output so I can send them to a Bass amp?

My goal would be to send my chord playing to a motion sound and send my bass sounds to a bass amp the way I can with my vox Jaguar. Its super simple on the jag because it has two outputs one for treble the other for bass.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

This is not really possible but if you really want to do this you would need to use both the high level output and the regular output and use some heavy EQ to filter out the frequencies to each amp. I can't see the point really. Given the architecture of the drawbars and their foldback and their audio range you'd never have distinct parts in each speaker.

You could always buy a Trek II Line Output Box, and put a phone plug on the end of the wire which has the alligator clips, and then you will have an "overall" output and "Low" (800hz. and down) output. And a volume control. You could call Trek II, and they could tell you if the box is suitable for such a use.

I bought a DOD SR835 crossover (less than $100). I run one output of my Nord C1 into a Neo Ventilator then to a regular amp or PA (stereo or mono), and the other output through the crossover set at ~250 Hz with the low output of the crossover going to a bass amp. This configuration works great for emphazing the low end to suit your taste, for example when playing left hand bass.

I experimented with other configurations like running everything through the crossover in either stereo or mono, but the above works best for me.

I have a sub filter for cat sterero.
It is basically a low pass filter that filters away anything above the set frequency. 250/125/80.
Should do the trick if all you want is a seprate low end out.
The one i bought was 25 euro. You need to spend 10 euro more on a 220ac to 12d. Adapter.
