I just bought the PK27 to go with my brand new C2D and after lugging it up a big hill from the post office and then screwing it all together it doesn't seem to want to work.
When I plug the power lead in I'm assuming that the green light on top should light up? Or do I need to do something to get it to talk to the C2D? I can't see any power buttons or anything...
I really really don't want to have to pack it up and carry it back down the hill to send it back to the shop, this thing weighs an absolute ton.

Re: Pedal Keys 27 dead on arrival?
Is that a square switch at the back? next to the power in? I can't see well in this picture:

First thing I would do is to check the transformer with a multimeter.
Hope it is not broken!

It looks like a switch, but it's actually just a sticker.
I tried the power lead from the pedals on my Nord Drum 2 and it works fine there, so I think unfortunately it looks like the pedals themselves are faulty.

The green light should be on with power, and it flickers as you use the pedals, or at least mine does.
What bugs me is that there must be power in the C2 but you need another power supply for the pedals. Convenient for Nord but trouble for users.
