"What is involved with mounting a Yamaha FC7 expression pedal onto a Hammond XPK 200L pedal set?"

Oddly enough, RevvDon, I just did this very thing! If your "l" pedals have the two threaded holes to mount a Hammond expression pedal, use sheet metal, or even wood, to make an adapter which will hold the volume pedal at the correct angle, and mount to the two threaded holes. The Yamaha pedal has holes in both ends which will bolt it to the adapter. Basically, the adapter needs to bring the far end of the volume pedal up. When you're done, you have a pedal set and volume pedal in almost the exact same relation as they are on a Hammond organ. This makes things easier, as everything is where you expect it to be. The pedal and adapter will unbolt from the bass-pedal console when it's time to move the set-up.

Thanks, everyone. I may go for the Hammond pedals then. Far cheaper than the PK 27. Sure I'm getting seven less keys, but since I have never played pedals, who knows if I could play that many anyway?

13 notes are a little on the lean side.
I have a studiologic 17 notes and that covers most of my playing. I have a 25 notes midified hammond A100 and a rarely go up to the upper f.

The 200"L" pedals look like a good set, RevvDon. I see the naturals have been lengthened over the old model for easy heel-playing, which is correct. Even without an adapter, the Yamaha pedal can be placed on top of the pedal console, but the back end must be raised for easy volume pedal motion.

Mentioning the studiologic (mp-117), it is easy to make the "white keys" longer. They wood is fastened with two screws each, and easy to replace with something longer. It goes up tp E in the second octave, not very large range, but sufficient, as on hammond style organ you play with the left foot only. You have a lower 4th for I - V function in all keys.
In church organ style you need much more pedal range of course.

I have done the trick of making the white keys longer on a MP 117. Works well.

And show "flmc" my kind of sloppy workmanship? Heck no! Actually, All you need is a triangular wood block, with possibly a sheet-metal attachment with hole to match the threaded holes for the Hammond volume pedal. Or (and this might be better) just use a block of wood which raises the volume pedal in the rear, and velcro's to the flat space on top of the pedal console at the toe. If you just put a Yamaha volume pedal on top of the pedal console, the back of the pedal will be much too low for easy operation. Take a look at a spinet or console organ, you simply want the volume pedal to be in the same position and angle it is (or as close to as possible) on a regular organ.
Mine is sloppy, and I think my description might tell you more than any photo I could take. Just remember, you need the volume pedal to end up where it always is (in relation to the pedals and organ) and to use a non-Hammond volume pedal (like the excellent Yamaha FC7) on a Hammonk XPK pedal set that mostly means the back end (toe end) of the volume pedal has to be raised with some kind of block.
There's no reason you can't velcro the volume pedal to the block, then velcro the block to the pedal console (the long box the pedals come out of). And then it all comes apart for floor (non-pedal) use. I hope, RevvDon, this is helpful to you.

Related to this, I get my best volume pedal action by setting the Yamaha FC7 volume pedal on the "Roland" curve in the menu. More volume in the first depression, and more even throughout the throw. Seems to work better for me.

I often do sloppy jobs for my own use. As long as it works......
