Here's my take on a DIY half moon. It uses an Ernie Ball 3-way Strat-Style Switch (P06371) I found on Amazon for less than $20 mounted in a 3D printed enclosure I designed. It's still in the prototype stage, next I have to wire it up and find the correct hardware to mount it. I'm undecided whether I will paint it or keep the raw 3D printed look. I probably won't bother with labels since, well, I memorized how it works . Total cost is around $30 in materials.
