C2D pedal couplers

Hi, I'm new to this forum

I tried to search for some info on the pedal couplers (SW-PED, GT-PED) on the NORD C2D organ, but didn't succeed.

One annoying thing about theese couplers is that you can only use ONE pedal coupler at the time.
(Funnily the buttons, when playing the B3-mode, can be selected both!)
But the pedal couplers seem to share the midi-controller number: 106
Both of: val:0
SW-PED: val:64
GT-PED: val:127

I have thought about "tapping" the midi-OUT signal and filtering it into two separate lines, each with only notes from one of the manuals. Theese two lines should then be converted to the pedal midi-channel and then sent into midi-IN when a designated foot piston is activated

Anybody tried something like it? Could it be done without messing up the midi-system of the organ?
