Key sensitivity Nord Electro 6d

Postby fernandosalaices » 22 Oct 2019, 20:48

Hello everyone. I bought an used Electro 6D about a month ago and everything was ok until I found out that the B2 key was not respecting its sensitivity. I watched a video on how to clean/replace the rubber sensors, I did it. It didn't work at first, then I turned them upside down and it is working now.

I heard many people with NE3 models dealing with these issues, but, why an Electro 6D? is it normal to have that "wear" if its the most new model? I'm concerned whether I should just go back to Guitar Center and return the keyboard if it's going to be having issues like these over time...

Thank you for your feedback

Nord has been using the same Fatar action in their instruments for years. Even though it's a newer Nord model, the keybed is still subject to the same issues.
