NP3 will use the .nsmp as they are including keyboard assignments of samples, you can only define whether you want to assign the Sample Synth section to split or layer.Magical01 wrote:Well, it's a sample keyboard with sample editing software. You need to (learn to) use the Nord Sample Editor to create your own .nsmp files, starting from .wav samples, if you want to make them the way you need/want. Ther are also soem good video tutorials on how to do that, besides many discussions on this forum.
PS: calling NP3 a "sample keyboard" is incorrect and misleading, imoho: it is a Stage Piano with some Sample playback capability, based on Nord Libraries and compatible user-made (on a PC, using NSE, so not on board) sample sets.
