Sound Manager wrong format

Postby dome19822000+ » 17 Feb 2015, 20:40

Hi guys,
i got myself a Nord Lead 2x, really nice synth, the only problem i have is the software cd. Most files on there including the Sound Manager, Midi-Backup etc. don`t have the wright format i guess --> they are all txt. (text) files - so they all open in "Text Edit" and don`t do anything --> can anyone help me with that?

I downloaded the newest version of the sound manager, this works on my mac but it says i have to connect the nord lead via USB to my laptop. Since the 2x doesn`t have a "USB out" do i have to get a Midi - Cable with USB on the other hand?

Any help with this would be very much appreciated since i wanna backup and reload the sounds :)

Many greetings, Dominik

I don't believe the Sound Manager is compatible with the NL2x....could be wrong, but look here at compatibility list:

That is correct; Nord Sound Manager does nothing for NL2X

If you're planning on doing offloading/onloading of program and/or performance data, sysex utility will be your route.
