Hi,
I have purchased SampleRobot Pro to sample a number of sounds from my Motif XF. Sampling does work well, but SampleRobot does export individual wave files for each note sampled.
Is anyone here using SampeRobot as well to create samples for the Nord, and can you let me know if it is possible to export all notes into a single WAV file, or how to deal with the individual WAV files in SampleEditor to map and create the NSMP?
Thanks a lot for any kind of hint or advice

Re: SampleRobot - record into single file
If you name the individual .wav files by the note name or number (SampleRobot should be able to do that automatically) they can be imported+mapped in 1 shot in NSE
Check NSE manual about the different import options, particularly the Single Sample Per File Assign:
If you have audio files on your hard drive where the file name contains an identifier or marker of the file’s pitch, the Single Sample Per File Assign function can automatically map these samples.

Re: SampleRobot - record into single file
Servus Schorsch,
I used the SampleRobot to sample my Roland and Emu Expanders. I got wav-files and with using NordSampleEditor I could convert them to nsmp-format.
Depending of the sound and the size of the sample I decided to map every 4 oder 5 keys. It is possible with the NSE.
Grüße
Helmuth

And how the situation is with Multisamples Sample Robot ( for example sampling Rhodes and importing into Synth section)?

What do you mean with "multisamples"? Remember that Nord samples format (and so NSE) can only handle 1 layer of samples so far, so I hope you don't mean "multilayer", the rest i.e the naming-trick is always the same whatever the source of .wav files is.

I mean recording 6-7 layers for each notes in Sample Robot then saving as one WAV file.
And importing it into NS Sample Editor.
Will every key produce those 6-7 layers? Thats my question to those who are the owners of SRobot.
( Some people stated on forums they found workaround importing multisamples as one WAV file to Nord sampling with Sample Robot 6)
Here is the discussion

No, this will not work. Nord keyboards do not support layered samples. 1 sample only per note.
The only engine that supports layered samples is the piano engine and Nord does not support adding your own piano samples.

Thanx, i thought as much... but went into discussion and nearly hoped its possible.
