Re: Question about the feel Nord Electro 6/Nord Stage 4 comp
Thank you, or indeed a test is necessary, but the problem is that the exhibition model which is often offered for testing is the heavy 88-key key and not the compact model.

Well you can ask for availability before going for the test, otherwise the alternative is to buy it online from a shop providing the possibility for a 100% refund (including shipment cost) if not satisfied.
Another point to have in mind in the compare is that a brand new keyboard can be perceived as "harder" compared to a used one just because it still needs some break-in (I experienced this when passing from NS2 to NS3, both Compacts so in theory having the same keybed, but the NS2 had many years of usage on it while the NS3 just a few months)

Thank you for your testimony. I will finally have the opportunity to test it in a store soon. I will give my opinion later.

Re: Question about the feel Nord Electro 6/Nord Stage 4 comp
Last Saturday I was able to test the Nord Stage 4 Compact with a friend. What a magnificent machine! It's particularly pleasant to see such a massive control panel in front of you in such a compact, brilliant format.
The keyboard was completely new, straight out of the box in front of us.
In fact, the touch is quite close to that of the Nord Electro 6 but with a very slightly less depth of depression than that of the Nord Electro 6 with greater rigidity, but we are on a keyboard that came from the factory so nothing surprising for this aspect.
Afterwards, what was particularly interesting was the response to the control of the acoustic pianos and the Rhodes, it was particularly pleasant to play and very expressive, I wasn't expecting that! In this aspect, it is above the waterfall touch of the Nord Electro 6D 73. Besides, I who am a Nord Piano 5 and not being a pianist, I would find myself completely there with this touch of the Nord Stage 4 compact to play rhodes and pianos, while gaining a better feel for synth sounds. Ultimately, it's quite simply the best touch that I've been able to try in terms of versatility, you can play anything with it with good sensations. The Nord's choice for this touchdown is particularly welcome and now I want one !!! That's my opinion.

(and indirectly another confirmation that nothing, no review, no demo, no forum discussion is like trying a keyboard yourself )
