To elaborate on this a little bit, literally speaking it is polyphony, albeit just 2 notes, but "not of the same synth", because in paraphonic mode the Sub37 becomes single OSC so you cannot create the same sounds you can when in mono mode (same happens with the DSI Pro.2, while other paraphonic synths, the old Poly800, don't have this limitation because they always work in paraphonia, without changing their OSC configuration or any part of the sound generation chain).
@stiiiiiiive: I agree that paraphony can infuse some creativity, when you play a paraphonic you have to deal with it the fact that every note retriggers the envelopes and that creates some interesting "patterns" (but you could get the same on a good polyphonic synth, provided it has options for envelopes triggering that include such a feature)
