on the Nord web site

there is a text saying:

Attention Nord Stage 3 owners: Nord Sample Library 2.0 files (.nsmp) files can not be transferred to the Nord Stage 3. Compatible sample files will be added soon. Stay tuned!

This means that there will be a new sample format for Stage 3?

Perhaps there will be a new version for layered sounds? Then we can perhaps expect new OS versions for the other models?

[edit: this page is now behind a password - earlier it was not. There were no new sounds, just some of the popular 2.0 samples in the 3.0 format. The file size seemed very similar, so it appeared that these new samples did not have velocity layers or any new features.]

In the new sample library 3.0 the files have the same size as before. So it seems that there are no new verlocity layers...

I hope we'll be able to import our nsmp into the NS3. I have some that I want to import into my new NS3...

It seems that this will not be possible. So many sample libraries will get useless. I cannot imagine this. There should be a conversion method.
