Nice!!! I wonder what piano it is. Since it says Japanese and they already have some Yamahas, I bet its a Kawai. What do you guys think?

I will be trying it out this evening.

Saludos,
Gustavo

Gustavo,

As you mentioned! It really sounds like a Kawai Piano!

the file name says "Silver Grand SK7".
So I would guess with reasonable certainty that it's a Shigeru Kawai SK7.

Will try it out tonight, but it looks like a great addition to the piano library: after the Yammies, Steinways, Bosies and Faz, it was the one top-end grand missing!
If they've managed to convey the distinctive Kawai sound (and given Clavia's maniacal work with its pianos, I'm pretty sure they have), it will be a great, GREAT new entry in the Nord world!
:thanks: :thanx: :welcome:

Wow. Can't wait to try it out. As an owner of an SK2 in particular I'm curious...

I wonder why the new Silver piano is version 5.3 and not 5.4 as the Upright Mellow ...

Heretic question: Is this Clavia's own sampling, or did they buy/license/modify it from somewhere - e.g. the new Kawai CA17/67/97 have SK7 samples as well... The text on Clavia's website does not mention their own sampling as it often did in the past.
