This is the right place if your topic concerns different Nord Keyboards, you are not sure which one is the right one for you, etc.

Although it does have controls, the "VMK161 Organ" is semi-weighted. The regular VMK161 is hammer action. (Neither has any sounds in it.)

Something to keep in mind is that while some semi-weighteds feel better or worse than others for playing organ, they can REALLY feel better or worse when playing piano.

100% Agree Mike. Lifeless black boxes those P125's are, both in action and sound output :D

To be fair, the Yamaha P125 costs about 1/5 of a Stage 3, and 1/4 of a NP4 ;)

A used Electro 3 61 may or may not have noisy keys, but if it does, it would not be the same problem as you might experience on an HP, the mechanisms are entirely different.

Definitely agree with Kirsty and Rusty Mike... I LOVE the HP action (not of the Electro, but of the Stage 2 EX 76HP and Stage 3 76HP). So much so that I bought a Studiologic SL73 Studio, which is the same keybed (Fatar TP/100LR or whatever). I really like that feel / action. Don't know why people don't!
