What stand do you like? All I have is the Spider Pro and a really heavy old Hercules 2-tier that lives permanently in my studio. When I was looking at various 2-tier options, it seemed that not many allow the second tier to be very low, except for column stands, which I'm now kind of tired of.

The one I use most often is the K&M 18880 with the 18881 stacker. I flip the 18881 around so it faces backwards, and I drop it to it's lowest position (you can drill more holes and/or modify it a bit if you need to, but it may not be necessary). To further decrease the height distance between the boards if need be, you can also attach some risers to the bottom tier, like what you see below, since to get the tiers closer, sometimes it's easier to raise the bottom than to further lower the top.

I have used many different keyboard stands over the years. From the "built-in" stand from Nord (Rhodes like), Spider Pro, Z stand and those with 4 feet. I've always struggled to find the perfect one because there was always something - too heavy/bulky to transport and a lot of hassel when setting up/taking down. For me, I have found that the K&M 18990 in combination with the K&M 18941 has the perfect match between a robust keyboard stand which also light and easy to pack and set up. You can set the stand pretty low, and then you also can see the other band members :)

What are you guys thinking about updates for NS4 in the coming time ? Do you think there will be any changes for layout or hardware ? Or should one wait to buy the NS4 to the first known issues is fixed?
