Hi there!
I have both the Wave 2 and the Stage 3 so this concerns both.
Up until now i've been using the old method of recording an audio file in my daw, bouncing it and drag & drop into the sample editor.
The new sample editor is supposed to shorten the procedure by recording directly, thus saving me the middle stage.
The problem is it's very confusing to try and route the audio coming out of my daw (or komplete kontrol, or wherever i want to load a vst and record its sounds).
My interface is the RME UC-X.
This is what it shows when i have to choose outputs:
And these are my options for inputs:
And i just can't figure out how to internally route the audio to record directly into the nord sample editor 4
Any advice?
Thanks!!

Re: How to internally route sound from daw to the sample edi
You can use JackAudio as a audio router between the two https://jackaudio.org/

Thanks - though it seems there's gotta be a way to do this without an additional program.
