This is the right place if your topic concerns different Nord Keyboards, you are not sure which one is the right one for you, etc.

We've got a small Guitar Center that stocks mostly Entry Level Gear... I haven't found them to be very knowledgeable in my experience unfortunately.

I emailed Nord & got a response from Tech Support.. I've tried the things they suggested with no luck. He said the Keyboard might have a faulty Jack. What is the Warranty on these? I bought it about 1 1/2 years ago. Doesn't seem that long but it is...

Any idea what the process is for Warranty Repair?

Thanks,
Lucky

Hi Lucky
Are you sure you have got the original Nord Half Moon Switch :
https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail ... tch-for-c1
And not this one :
https://www.sweetwater.com/store/search.php?s=Halfmoon
The last one are not compatible with your Nord, the internal wiring are different.

I know because I have both, and tried to use the last one on a Neo Ventilator, but could not get it to work, or rewire it to work. What works on a Nord will also work on a Ventilator.

If you want to check the function in your board, you can plug in your normal sustain pedal in the Rotor Pedal inlet.
The only thing it will do, are toggling between slow and fast when you have the Leslie/Rotary enabled.

It is the actual Nord Half Moon Switch.. I tried everything the Manual said & what Nord Custommer Support said to do. I also called Sweetwater who sent me a second Nord Half Moon Switch which doesn't work either... Something wrong with the Keyboards Input Jack is what the Nord Customer Service Rep said..and could be more wrong than that as well.

:( Hello guys!! I accidentally broke my NE5D 73 "rotor pedal" jack... I think maybe the keyboard hit the ground (even inside the bag) with the half moon switch connected and the plastic tube just broke itself

I have searched the Syntaur website but could not find the exactly description (i think it might be a stereo jack, am i right?). Any suggestions? could be a USA, UK or German store.

Contact Nord to find out what type of jack they're using, so You can replace it by the same.
And yes, it's a stereo jack.
