Convertion of ns2p or nsmp to nspg format

Postby Erik1951 » 10 May 2019, 11:34

Hi

Is it possible to convert sound fields from ns2p or nsmp to nspg format?
I have an "old" Nord Stage 88, revision B. I'm also looking for alternative/new piano, string and horns sounds for my instrument.
Have tried most of nspg field the sounds on this page, a lot of them are great , but still....

Hi Erik and welcome to NUF,

sorry but what you ask is not possible, the Synth section of Nord Stage classic does not allow to load samples (it is a pure Virtual Analog synth); be also aware that in general programs are not compatible across different models (also, but not only for that reason: different synth and other sections parameters).

For new pianos you can still use the smaller versions of the latest ones available in the Nord Piano library (for EPs use the original V5 versions as V6 is not supported by your NS Classic); for other acoustic sounds you need to use a second keyboards/workstation or an expander or a computer with virtual instruments (via NS Extern Section).
