Camelot Pro is a new cross-platform (Mac/Win and iOS) tool for musicians, combining Song/Setlist management, HW and SW (AU/VST) presets management (with preset and user configurable HW maps, preset include NE3-5, NS2, NL4 and A1) and much more.

Re: Camelot Pro now available!
Nice one, but as far as I can see, not user editable for (still) not supported models, like NS3, or any other of my boards.

I guess it will come soon and you have an A1 (supported), anyway if you read the support page it says
Items
Hardware and Software instruments are recalled by Items attached to a Layer. The Hardware instrument are selected from a map and included in an external (midi) instrument item.The software instruments are selected from a plugin list (after a scan made on the global settings area) and included in a plugin instrument item. Is also possible to create your MIDI item and maps to make a Custom Setup or to send specific midi messages.
So there it is and you can try the Free (limited number of items) Mac or Win version before buying.

Re: Camelot Pro now available!
I actually prefer ForScore for IOS. https://forscore.co/
The main differences are your managing sheet music/lead sheets into setlists (with annotations) and it doesn't have the HW/sW integration, but it does allow for Presets. For my Nord, I've setup Presets for all my often used Programs and then simply assign them to a Song and the present will trigger a midi signal to the Nord when the song is selected automatically. You can also put virtual buttons on the lead sheet assigned to different presets so you can toggle between sounds during the song with a simple press of a button. It's so easy to create/manage setlists and share them amongst devices.
To create a preset, simply determine the Midi sequence; Channel, MSB, LSB, Program number and Label it (Favorite Piano). I've created an Excel Spreadsheet on this site to translate Nord Programs into Midi Sequence numbers to help with this. As a backup, I also label each song with the program number in the synth in case I run into any Midi hardware problems (which I haven't). I use the Yamaha BT101 Wireless MIDI connectors to connect between the iPad and the Nord.
Works like a charm.

Re: Camelot Pro now available!
Well "prefer" could be if you have tried both and it's dificult since Camelot is out today for the first time
Anyway it is a different tool, ForScore is not an AUv3 host neither can drive HW synth parameters, think of Camelot Pro more as a "Mainstage for iOS", somehow.

Re: Camelot Pro now available!
kbrkr's workflow matches my own: I love the ForScore/Yamaha Bluetooth MIDI combo. I am still rocking an E4, which predates setlists in the Electro series.
I can't find kbrkr's spreadsheet (likely hiding in plain sight)... but I recently devised a spreadsheet calculation that works for any Nord instrument whose programs are organized in 32 x 4. I'm sure this could be tweaked for a 5-button scheme, I just don't have to... yet.
The formula to calculate MIDI program change values is
(a * 4) - (5 - b)
where
a = page (from 1 to 32)
b = program (buttons, from 1 to 4)
The fact that MIDI program change values start at zero, rather than one, is the complicating factor here.

It should work with all hardware, just like similar hardware-controlling apps like iMidiPatchbay and KeyStage do. But there are some enhanced features that only work on supported boards. For example, on an unsupported board, if you want to bring up your board's Piano patch and it is your board's Program 1, you'd have to enter Program Change 1 (or 0, depending on the board). But if it's a supported board, I believe you can call up a screen of sounds, and select Piano. In other words, it saves you from having to look up which MIDI Program Change number is associated with which sound (which is something that is different for every board, which is why they have to build in support for each board individually).

I'm not sure I really see it as a Mainstage... or at least not any more than those other programs I mentioned are, anyway. Mainstage comes with a huge library of sounds, for one thing. None of these other apps do.

That's why I said "somehow", I meant is it is like MS as far as being a tool where you can combine HW and SW instruments and organize them into patch/songs.

In KeyStage, you can also access sounds of connected devices by selecting names from patch lists. This is done by uploading Cubase Patch Script files for the device. And you are not resticted to a list of supported boards. Once you find (or create) the Cubase Patch Script file of any device (or app), you are good to go.

Your're not restricted in Camelot Pro either, you can create your own user mappings
