hi, I was curious which sustain pedals out there can be used with the nord piano 3?

Pls advise and thx in advance for yr help.

Most any sustain pedal can be used if all you want is simple sustain. I've used a bunch of different ones, no problems so far.

If you want the three pedal rig, you'll have to pay through the nose for the Nord Triple Pedal. Nothing else works.

BTW, your NP3 should have come with a Nord Triple Pedal?

If you are doing a lot of solo piano, or piano accompaniment for a solo singer, it's definitely worth using your triple pedal, as it allows the pedal noise facility to be activated. Really adds to the authenticity. However, if you play in a band, you'll never hear such details. But as Chuck said, the Piano 3 comes with the Triple pedal anyway.

There was a guy stripped down the Nord triple pedal and explains in his post how the thing work. If your handy with a soldering iron you may be able to modify a cheaper triple pedal to do the same job using the information in this post:
