Anyone using this new Stay Red keyboard stand? Seems to designed for 88 note weighted action.
Looks the business!

Re: Stay Piano 1 Stand
I have been using the STAY two-tier stand (single column) for a year or more, and I have to say I really like it.
Extremely light, very sturdy, easy setup and break down, and a vibrant, pulsating RED. My SpiderPro is now in backup status as a result.
As I have just started up with this trio where I'm playing a single NP4, I'm eyeing that exact stand for the act.

Re: Stay Piano 1 Stand
Hey, Chuck - If you didn't already have the single-column Stay stand with two tiers, would you just get the two-tier, two-column piano stand and use it for both one and two keyboard gigs? If not, what do you see as the advantages of the single column stand for two-keyboard gigs (or the disadvantage for your NP4-only)?
The reason I ask is that I'm going to go back to standing while playing (instead of using the Nord legs for my NS3-88) and I may want to use the Juno-DS61 as a second tier, but I'm not committed to it yet. I really want something stable and the K&M 18880 has a bit too much side-to-side sway for me at the height I use it (otherwise, its impossibly light with no bounce or front-back movement - I see why people like it). Thanks!

Hey Chuck, speaking as one who likes to “lean into” their instruments... how stable is your two-tier, in comparison to the Nord legs, or one of the beefy On-Stage x-stands, that absolutely do NOT flex, ever?
And is there room for five pedals down there?

Re: Stay Piano 1 Stand
RustyMike: I'm looking at the dual-column, single-tier STAY stand for a solo 88 piano gig with two singers. My single-column two-tier stand sticks up too high, and doesn't look right, visually speaking. I play sitting down, not standing. I'm ok with a little bit of sway on my 88. More about the esthetic.
PScooter63: There's some flex, but I play seated and don't tend to bang too hard on the far ends of the 88. As above, a little sway is OK with me. Look closely at pedal space if that's a concern -- it's a bit cramped directly under the column(s). I only play with three, and it's OK.
Other than that, it's a really spiffy stand.

Re: Stay Piano 1 Stand
@solmaster, thanks for starting this thread. Timely for me. Chuck, thanks for the comparison with the single column. Good comments as always. I ordered the 2-tier double-column in red today. Supposed to arrive Friday. I’ll post an update after I’ve had a chance to try it out.
