I thought I would share my latest creation with you all.

My stage setup can be up to three synths, one or two saxophones and pedalboard, a few pieces of percussion and sometimes a guitar. on top of that I control projections from a laptop. So I'm always looking to cut down setup times and the amount of cables on stage. I've cut the synths down to just the Wave 2 this year and built this hinged box in the back of my flight case.

The Behringer MA400 (used to adjust my keys and vocal monitor mix on the fly) is permanently mounted on top of the box. I can fit all my cables, power, Expression pedal, sustain pedal, and microphone in the box when transporting. It's also a great shelf to sit my iPad for music and lyrics while on stage!

The pictures (iPhone) don't do it justice. I'm really happy with the setup!

That's a lot of things you packed into that case - how much does it weigh and do you need roadies for all that gear? :lol:

Not sure what it weighs now, but definitely a bit heavier with all that oak

It's no problem carrying it from the van to the venue though.

I'll weigh it when I get a chance.

I like it. Extrapolating that false back idea to incorporate transport is a great idea. Looks fantastic from the audience perspective too.

Thanks. The view from the audience side wasn't a thought at the start, but it does look retro!
