Hey !
I don't remember exactly how this idea come to my mind, but here I am !
I used to know Pure Data from about a year, and I have and unused gaming joystick on my desktop. Well why don't try to use it as a MIDI controller ?
I first try to find some softwares to do it. But we have to pay for them. Then I watched a Pure Data tutorial explaining exactly how to do that. Internet is fantastic !
Why did'nt I think about it earlier ?
Check it out ! That would be awsome for a live lead solo !
(I didn't really apply myself for this video i'm sorry, i just did it after programming the setup, late night but you understand the potential)
I can give you further explanations if you want, the tutorial doesn't explain everything. I had to learn a bit more about how to do some logic conditions and so.
NS2 + joystick + Pure Data = awsome !

Thanks cphollis
Here is he video, here the guy is explaining how to modulate some VST's parameters.
If you want to do that directly with your nord, put the Control Change value of the parameter you want and make sure your MIDI input is the correct channel (I use USB 1).
Then in Pure Data, you have to configure the output: Media > MIDI Setting and your Nord should appear in the list, else… there is a problem, make sure it's recognized by your computer in Audio & MIDI setup (mac).
BTW, if you want to use that on ableton, logic or whatever, activate IAC in Audio & MIDI setup, and this IAC bus should appear in the MIDI input/output list of Pure Data and your software.
And last thing I forgot to precise before: to use Pure Data "HID" fuctions, you need to have Pure Data extended and not the common Pure Data, I don't know why but the extended version seems to be abandonned and the common version doesn't have these functions.

Enjoy
