Nord Gig Bag or?
I’m going to be buying a gig bag for my NS2 73, just for going to rehearsals, not for public transportation. My question is, is the expensive Nord bag a good product? I have found a Yamaha gig bag that looks pretty good and is almost the same size. Your thoughts….

If your NS2 73 is the same size as the NS3C... The Nord soft case is good! Had mine since Sept 2018... No issues...
Same technology no matter what differences though...

Re: Nord Gig Bag or?
Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to find a gig bag I like as much as the Nord ones.
I think I have gear issues ....

Okay, you mentioned that you‘re going to use the bag only for going to rehearsals but nevertheless I‘d like to add one thought. I always love the moment when I‘m getting in at the location before soundcheck, particularly at festivals where there is a multitude of bands. With a nord bag it feels as if you belong to „the professional sector“. It’s only a sentiment, but worth the higher price - at least to me.
As far as the bag‘s quality is concerned: Mine is 10 years old now, heavily used on the road, and doesn‘t show any weakness!
Cheers from Germany

Re: Nord Gig Bag or?
For the semi-weighted models, the Nord bags are great.
I was severely disappointed with the 88 case: huge, heavy and just not good enough: it started falling apart after less than two years, I think it's just not good enough for such a heavy instrument.
But you have a 73, so nothing to worry about.
Just as a reference, you might like to take a look at Gator G-PG series and the Fusion bags, they make excellent stuff.
