Thanks, Mike. I don't use monitor speakers anymore (IEMs, baby!) but these look like heavy hitters for the size. I am not surprised about the resonance issue and would expect similar from similar designs -- at some point, you're pumping so much energy through a tiny vibrating box that it starts to shake. I would try clamping it down in some manner.

I know you're not using the battery feature, but I would expect the Li-Ion battery to last an impressive amount of time.
I think I have gear issues ....

I play cover rock generally, raw, keep it simple mono, with much more emphasis on lowered volume from all band members; meaning we’re all a bit older now, still play with some gusto, but with respect to weaker core strength, so less really does mean more. Not sure you need all this info, but just thing to convince myself that Everse can possibly replace my Yam DXR-10 which I lug as stage monitor, and go thru pa. Currently in 6-piece with sax player, and add some Nord brass horn hits and synths. My aim is to leave the new dxr at home and transport w Everse, eventually x2 and try stereo.
Organs, EPS and what little synth I tried sound great. If you’re looking to replace your DXR as a floor monitor (and you actually are playing at a lower volume) this would work just fine. It’s got the direct out to go to the PA board as well, so you’re covered there. I would caution against trying it out in a rock group that plays on the loud side, unless you put it on a stand right next to you.

As a point of reference, I have my set at 0dB gain with the Stage set to 50-60% master volume and it works great in my context as my sole sound source.

Chuck I’m starting to suspect that some of the resonance/dead spot I hear might be due to my tinnitus. The ringing in my right ear is some high multiple of 932Hz and it seems I’m pretty sensitive to that pitch and its harmonic multiples. So I would put a grain of salt on my perceived resonance comment for now.

Unfortunately, I can’t listen with somebody else’s ears and nobody around me is saying anything negative. If someone else buys this speaker, please let me know what you hear. Help an old man out!

I think the battery is rated for some impressive amount of time, like 12 hours at mid grade load. Maybe I can go busk with the EV and my Reface CP!

Just rec'd Everse8 today. Unpacking was easy, updated firmware via the app, and up and running. Using mono TS cable from output 1 on Nord to Input 2 on Everse (Hi-Z connection). I use a lot of synth, brass, some strings and effects. Haven't messed much with EQ yet, but love I can tweak the volume, Treb, Bass and mid, using the app. Looking at the piece next to my live gear, it's welcoming the small size and light weight. Ran through 20+ programs to quick test sound, so far so good. Mike did good job describing specifics. I will have to test out live and report back...so far big smiles.

If I was in the S1/Everse market, I'd also look at the Yorkville EXM-Mobile-8.

Yorkville is a no go for me because it doesn't have a user replaceable battery. It will get expensive bringing it to a service center or worse shipping it back to Yorkville in Canada!
