Some comments about the v1 say that it would be noisy. I cannot confirm that with the v2. If you turn the volume up to the maximum I can just hear a faint noise when I hold my ear next to the speaker, which I think is completely acceptable.
In case they changed the amplifiers gain in v2 then it might be fixxed???
I wish i could help you more with it
Regards

Re: Monitor V2 hiss
Here's the update: I did send in the monitors to the seller for a 1:1 comparison with another pair.
The feedback is (roughly translated): "We couldn't hear a difference between the pairs and also we couldn't generally hear unusual noise. We tried changing the cables, but it didn't alter anything. Also a further colleague heartested and he couldn't hear unusual noise that would be disturbing. So, the monitors are ok."
As a last experiment I ordered Dynavox wall outlet filters to rule out my wall outlet as a disturbing factor. As expected, it didn't change anything, so those are going back.
That leaves me with two assumptions: The particular hiss I am experiencing is normal for this model (and probably many other monitors) plus I still have a decent hearing, since it anoys me a bit in quiet parts. Always look at the bright side
Anyway, I will keep the monitors, since I like the sound and looks and I guess I can adopt to the operating noise.

Re: Monitor V2 hiss
I also have this problem with the Nord Piano Monitors. I really expected more from a product that costs $900 (I have a $150 set of Rockit 5's that do not have this problem). Happens even with all inputs disconnected and all volumes at zero.
