For most DAW's you have to "arm" the track for recording.
Mostly this is a button with an "R" on it that flashes/turns red. Then you have to press the transport record button to actually record it.

Also make sure that the correct input is selected. You could hear your piano through the interface itself instead of through your daw.

I hear the sound from the sound card but when I play I can't see any reception in Logic X.
I thought it was because I was recording mono (all examples I found show stereo), but I've tried with a mic too, and i've got the same problem.

Scarlett Solo is supposed to be working on macOS Mojave (https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-gb/ ... ave-10-14- ) and I don't need any driver (it's even impossible to find one).
I've also cleared the security problem on Mojave with Scarlett : https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-gb/ ... -on-my-Mac

But still... no signals...

I hear the sound from the sound card but when I play I can't see any input level meters moving in Logic X.

OK I found the problem... it was this mono thing : I had selected only "Input : 1" (I thought so since I was recording mono), but I should've selected "Input: 1+2".
Going to replace the solo card by a 2i2 now :D

You may have done this already but might want to check.
From Apple support site:

After installing macOS Mojave on your Mac, you might not be able to record audio in apps like Logic Pro X, MainStage, GarageBand, Final Cut Pro X, or third-party audio and video apps.

After installing macOS Mojave, when trying to record you might see an alert that says audio input isn't accessible. Or you might not hear sound, see waveforms, or see audio meters move when recording. To record audio, allow the app to access audio inputs:
Close the app you're using to record audio.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu () > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click Privacy.
Click Microphone.
Select the checkbox next to an app to allow it to access the built-in microphone on you Mac, an external USB mic, or the inputs on an external audio interface.

Ok, glad it’s sorted.
The Nord will sound much better in stereo with the 2i2.

Hello,
My project is basic … I want to record my Nord Stage 3.
I‘m using an IPad Pro 2018 with Cubasis (the IOS Version of Cubase) … in fact the problem is the same with GarageBand; I don‘t think it‘s a software problem.
I made some tests with the Focusrite Scarlett I2I (3rd Gen).
All works well and I can record the Nord, but for me as final result there is too much wind noise.
My reseller says it‘s normal with a Focusrite, for a Nord Stage I must buy an interface with a better quality. Another says that I must use a PC and not a tablet.
I was thinking it was basic, but in fact …
Is there anybody using a tablet to record the Nord (with or without Focusrite) and with a relatively good result ?
Thanks for your advice.
