Electro 4 SW73 Music Stand

Postby Sospan » 28 Mar 2016, 19:43

Has anybody come up with a solution for the lack of music stand mounts on the NE4 SW73? I know it is possible to use a separate music stand but it would be a lot neater to be able to fit a stand to the body of the keyboard instead as with the Stage and many others.

Thanks,

Sospan

I've got a Stage 2 SW73. I didn't realise the larger Stage model(s) could attach a sheet music stand - I haven't looked into that (unless you meant other brand "stage" pianos).

Perhaps someone will come up with something to clamp directly on. Otherwise...
I like a convenient setup too, so I've switched to Konig & Meyer for my main stand which is excellent as all sort of attachments can be fitted easily: 2nd tiers, mic booms, iPads, and sheet music holders.
If you haven't got a suitable K&M stand yet, then there's an initial investment to make of course.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes many of the other Nords have mounts in which a music stand can be located. They aren't provided on some of the 73 note boards but are on others. I'll check out the stand you suggested.

Thanks again.

Anyone know of a convenient music stand mount for an On-Stage Z stand?

music stand brackets work on HA, HP and dual manual organ models, not SW and synths, due to physical limitations of the chassis

Hi, is there a difference between the stand and the stand ex. Does they both fit to all stage and piano series?

Technical description is Stand EX, but it may be that some dealers/advertisers may inadvertantly leave out the EX part of the name. Years ago there were two versions, regular and EX, but I've never actually seen one of the non-EX ones and they have not been available for sale for a long, long time.

Bless,

Pablo

I have a NS2 SW73 and use a Roland KS-18 Z Stand. it's open bottom allows pedal freedom, it's sturdy and portable, folds easy but doesn't fasten shut, so I tape it down with clear shipping tape, to move it. love the style for stage and the end caps remove to hold 2 of these expanding clamp attachment bars. one for my boom/mike and the other side has a heavy duty gooseneck clip to hold my flip chart music, or any papers. easy set up and packing and love eliminating stands.

(2) On-Stage Stands KSA7575 Universal Keyboard Mic Attachment Bar. $15
(1) Stedman PC1 Proclip Sheet Music Holder $40- pricey but worth having on the road
8-)

@Pablo I have seen a regular (I think) for a small price and I ask myself if it fit. The regular has only one high, right?

Thanks
