DIY half moon switch?
How complicated is the original half moon switch really?
I'm thinking since any sustain pedal can be used as on/off for the rotor - how much more difficult can the half moon be?
Would it be sufficient to figure out which circuit to close and make a Telecaster 3-way switch gizmatrix instead..?
Or is it more complicated than that?

Re: DIY half moon switch?
I have the Nord half moon switch on my stage 3 compact and if I had it to do over I'd not bother getting it.
Aftertouch is better as it doesn't require a hand and the switch gets in the way slightly around the lowest A key.

@fieldflower: Search the forum and you will find some people have made their own half moon switches. Not a lot of science to it.

I'm kinda on that line of thinking - if I can make one at a (much) lower cost it's a fun thing to have...BuckW wrote:I have the Nord half moon switch on my stage 3 compact and if I had it to do over I'd not bother getting it.

Re: DIY half moon switch?
I have a half moon switch (Hammond XK3c type) with a 1/4” plug on the end. I just need a good easy way to mount it to my NS3 88. I’ve tried tape AND velcro. I’d be happy to buy a mount if someone is making onegetintune wrote:Plastic box of ebay for pennies, guitar switch off ebay from China £2. Simple
