best sustain pedal if $ is no object
My sustain pedal just broke. Granted I go hard. But I bought it less than three months ago. I need something that can be stomped on 6 hours a day

Boss FS5U. Non-traditional in appearance, but they just don’t break.
Don’t forget, you’ll need a separate 1/4” patch cable.
Also, the latching version is great for rotor on/off, and the two can be ganged together into a single “unit”, if you will.

I’ve been using the Nord sustain pedals for over a decade with never a single issue. Yamaha makes good ones as well.

For OP, the Nord Sustain pedal (single) is a Fatar VFP1 (I don't if it is the N/O or N/C model, but since you have to buy it separately, get a VFP1-25 which has also the normally Closed/Open mode switch)ericL wrote:I’ve been using the Nord sustain pedals for over a decade with never a single issue. I love my Roland DP-10. Very good, piano-like feel and stability. And, as far as durability is concerned, I still have my first Yamaha FC5, which I bought with my Roland D20 around 1989, in use. It seems to last forever!
Cheers, and stay healthy everybody

Oh yeah, the DP10, with the clever swing-out heel/anchor pad. I enjoyed the one I had for around 5 years, I think the fixed cable connection died on it, and I didn’t have the patience to repair it. Really nice otherwise.
