Re: My gear
My gear is not so impressive.
I have a Nord Stage Compact
Roland XP-80
and just some standard pedals and X-stands
I mostly just use the Stage alone, 'cause it can do most stuff by it self

Re: My gear
Personally, I am really content with the Stage so my setup consists in just adding a sequencer and a 88 keys Piano:

you think ? I don't find it impressive : standard pedals and standard monitors. I mentionned the iMac because you need to have a computer running to make the Duet work. I mainly use it for work/TV/internet : music is just a small part of it.
I took the music stand because I didn't want legs for music stand to stay in my feet.
I took the legs because the look awesome (my wife love them far better than the X stand I used to have), but it's quite expensive and I think not easy to use (I never took it away)

No need to start dissing my gear:(. I already said it wasn't so impressive.

Hmm. At home I either just use headphones(Sennheiser H2200 (kinda old)), or I send the sound through my Lambda Lexicon sound card and my cheap Acer laptop and the sound comes out of two Yamaha MSP10STUDIO monitors(which I borrowed).
When I'm out gigging I usually just plug my stage into whatever soundsystem that is used by the band:)
Have fun.
PS. Sorry if I offended you in any way with my previous post. I just ment that my gear was not that impressive. I wasn't comparing it to yours or anything. I was just listing my gear.

Re: My gear
My basic live setup:
Nord Stage Compact with Quiklok WS-540 Stand, Yamaha FC-4 and FC-7 pedals.
AKG C535 for vocals
Mackie VLZ3 802
HK Audio Lucas Smart
I sometimes use the H&K Tube Rotosphere instead of the built in Leslie simulator - just for a different sound. I like both.
I am currently building a masterkeyboard with a real piano action and midi sensors for playing piano sounds. The Stage will sit on top of it.
I once had a Kurzweil PC88 + Roland Fantom Rack but I sold both so that I could afford the Nord Stage.
At home and for really small gigs I have a Groove Tubes SFX Spacestation! It's a great little amp!
Oh yeah, I have a great sounding old viennese Upright Piano (Stelzhammer) and a Wurlitzer A200 - unfortunately without legs. Anybody got some for sale?
I also play the guitar and I have quite a collection but that's not the point here. And I won't list my recording equipment here since I have too much. ;o)
Cheers,
Manuel

Re: My gear
Hi all,
I play in a jazz Big Band so I don't need too much equipment, and I like to travel light! :-)
Nord Stage 76 EX
Nord gig bag
QwikLok WS-550 Stand
Roland KC-300 Amp
I'm thinking of replacing the Roland Amp with a pair of Mackie SRM-150's. Anyone have experience of the SRM-150?

I listened to a lot of speakers when I was looking for the right amplification...
I haven't heard the SRM-150 myself but from what I've heard they are veeery midrangy. I wouldn't buy them without trying.
If you don't need a strong bass - I love my Groovetubes SFX Spacestation - awesome stereo sound from just one cabinet!
If you need it louder, check out the Yamaha MSR 100 - I quite liked them. If your budget is big enough, check out the RCF! But they are bigger too...
