Hello all, here's a few picture of what I been gigging with for the last while. I took a C2 (painted black with Wurly legs), and link it up via midi to a Electro 3 "module". I took the keys off of the Electro and cut the main control panel and jacks off of the rest of the metal chassis, then built a new "desktop" housing for it. It's the long white box with wood sides. The nice thing about having the C2 and Electro 3 linked up, is I can assign the Electro to the top manual, and be able to play The C2 organ on the bottom keyboard at the same time. One can even keep a few drawbars out on the top and blend the two together... I built a pedal board for the swell pedal, leslie foot switch, piano/organ sustain pedal and a Boss RC-20 XL looper which sit under the C2. The other non-Nord gear seen is a Memotron (wood to match) which triggers the Moog Slim Phatty (wood to match), both go through the Boss Space Echo and then to the looper. Everything then goes into a Fender Deluxe Reverb, which has great vibrato and reverb for the Electro's Wurly and Rhodes.
It's been a long road to built and set this all up, not to mention expensive.... But I couldn't be happier. It's all so portable and sounds AMAZING! Thanks for checking it out, I've been excited to share this with this forum!
Cheers!

Quite nice!! I bet it not only cost you a lot of money, but also time to paint everything and chop the NE3.

Thanks! The roughest part was taking an angle grinder to the Electro 3 and cutting into it. Bought it new, and told the sales guy that no warranty would be needed, since I would be cutting it up. The look of his face...

Re: My custom rig
Love the new vintage look of it. Always thought Nord would do a lot better with a black option.

Ha, I wasn't able to discover the NE3, until you have this hint. You've got some balls.

Looks great!
How did you attach the wurlitzer legs? Did you have to drill something?

Re: My custom rig
Yes there was some drilling required. 16 holes in all. I ordered the legs and the leg flanges (brackets) from VintageVibe.com. Three screw hole in each flange, plus the leg has a threaded post that needs to screw into the flange and through.
Nerve wracking!!!!
