At first sight, I was not sure but since you detailed what guitar you are using, I love even more your studio: I found in love with the G&L guitar 6 years ago when I discovered them and I have 4 of them plus a bass....And I barely play bass or guitar....I told my wife, "I just bought the university graduation presents for your future grand kids"...She was not really convinced.....Anyway, they are part of a legend, the finition on it and craftsmanship put into these instruments are so Awesome...I still don't get why there is not more G&L all around, they are the pure Leo Fender's best creations nowadays....

Yes, I know, it might be too much but I love the G&L guitars....

I did not want to beat up my vintage G&L on gigs, so I bought the Indonesian made Tribute version used, and it is a fantastic guitar!

If it gets a couple of dings I don't care. Bought it used on Reverb and it already was equipped with SD pickups.

So, the tribute version is good? Ok, I never tried one but I saw a Bass 5 strings L2000 tribute at 500$ and was thinking to buy it...So, it's worth it, you don't loose too much compared to the American made one?

Yes, absolutely. I believe the hardware used is the same as the USA models. I was surprised at how good the quality was.
I played a number of standard teles (mexico) and les pauls in the $700-$800 range and this guitar was much nicer.

Great fit and finish, intonation, great guitar for the money-

Ok, thanks for the info, I had heard that about the G@L tribute being better than the Mexico telecaster and Gibson but was never able to play them to compare, thanks again.
