Big Love, with NLA1 & NL4, from Marlowes

Post by Marlowes »

Hej!

I was in den Haag a few weeks ago and argued with stubborn young singer Shass, of course at the legendary drinking hole Zwarte Ruiter at Grote Markt.
(Some famous Clavia playing pros showed up, but that's another story.)
Too much to drink, I was whining about how I felt Ruud Houvelings (Cloudmachine) original from 2009 was making me sleepy.
(Please forgive me, Ruud - I'm only envy of your talent as singer/songwriter.)

Well, after a few days I got an email from Shass full of audio-files with higher bpm and the key I wanted.
So, I started up my Logic Pro X and added: NL4 piano, NLA1 bass & ambient, JV-80 strings and Fantasia  , D-50 "Digital Dreams" Autumn Bells.
Then I got my young neighbor Pierre (RockValleyRoad) to deliver a pile of drum loops, both synth and acoustic.
Some mixing and video-ing of Ricards spaceship car ... and voilà:

Thanks to Shass, Pierre, Ruud, Ricard, Kroffe och Eric Persing!

I've just GOT to know -- what is that car??!!

Nice track -- I haven't heard the original, but it must be sleepy indeed if this is the fast version! ;-)
