Just one detail. Wouldn't it be better if the two oblique aluminium bars were sitting on top of the long aluminium bar at the back? That way, the weight of the keyboard would keep the bars in place rather than depending on a rivet or screw. If those were to fail (unlikely, I know), there is nothing keeping the instrument in place.
[Edit]: Maybe my comment is not too relevant. The kbd seems to rest on the triangular aluminium pieces, not on the oblique bars?

I see your point but the oblique aluminum bars wouldn't fold away for transport if they were placed on top of the long aluminum bar. Plus, yes, the triangular aluminum ears take the weight at the front. The oblique bar are more for lateral stability.
I know very little about woodworking, but I've got to say that I'm amazed that you can make that stand and sell it for under $650 complete. My wife just walked in and I said, "look at this great stand. How much do you think it costs?" She replied $2500. That's from looking at furniture in stores. I couldn't use one myself, this room is too crowded already, but I bet you sell a lot of those. The hardest part will probably reaching the right possible buyers. Good luck, it's a great product!
Byron has finished my stand and I will have it within the week. Read earlier in this thread for pricing and contact info if u want him to make u a Valhalla Clonewheel Stand.

I would love to take the credit but it's all Byron at Valhalla Woodworking in Pennsylvania, USA. Contact him if you're interested in buying a stand. I was just customer #1!
