Hey Folks. I have a Nord Stage 2 and some great sounds from the sample library that have been modified and stored as .ns2p files. CAN I TRANSFER THEM to my new Nord Stage 3. Apparently they are just settings

Thought I d ask since I m unable to get the same sounds on the Nord Stage 3. Looking for super mellow stringy pads. Any help MASSIVELY appraiated

Short answer: No. The synth reacts very differently in the two machines.

However, if you press and hold “shift” and turn a knob on the Stage 2, the display will show its value.
You can use the same value settings on the new machine to get close, but they’ll still need some additional tweaking.

Do you also know how I can show the current value settings on the nord stage 3 again?
Because if I press and hold "shift" there the parameters are changing.

There is a „Monitor“ button on the Stage 3 to do exactly that.
