Or.. ask Pablomastodon if he has any spare one to send
OK, now I'm confused. On this website it is said that you need 250 mA with slow blow: http://www.electro-music.com/forum/topic-29716.html :o

What is the right one now? I'll be touring in Ecuador in August, so I also need to switch to 115 V.

I'm concerned it won't work: The part that shipped with my NE3 is "Cooper-Bussmann MDL-3/10-R" and measures 31.75mm x 6.36mm. The dimensions in the link you sent are 20mm x5mm. With your Nord unplugged, open your fuse holder and check the size of the fuse within.

It worked - I'm using a Nord Lead 3 which takes the shorter 20mm fuses.
Opened it up, switched it form 230 to 115, swapped out the fuse - plugged it in and powered it up.
Seems to be fine - played for about 30 mins on it - no probs or any weirdness.

I'm happy!

The fuse/fuse cap sizes are not model dependent, but essentially voltage dependent. US and Canada use the larger size, commonly referred to as 1-1/4" x 1/4", sometimes written as 30x6mm or 30x6.3mm. More or less the rest of the planet uses metric size, 20x5mm. All units have the same size fuse holder and the different fuse dimensions are accommodated by differing fuse caps, one for US and one for metric. It really doesn't matter which physical dimension fuse is used anywhere on the planet as long as the correct RATING fuse is used. That said, for those who may be traveling back and forth between US and other world destinations may wish to stick with the scheme that Nord uses because if "goof-proofs" the operation somewhat: big fuses for 115v and small ones for 230v. Saves the trouble of having to read the tiny numbers embossed into the metal caps on the ends of the fuses (and having to find reading glasses to do this).

Note that failure to change fuse when switching from 230v to 115v mains power source will not endanger the instrument, only the fuse itself. Failure to change the fuse when switching from 115v to 230v, definitely WILL leave the Nord's circuitry underprotected and exposed to potential damage.

Bless, Pablo

Mouser carries fuses.

Using a 300 mA slow blow fuse in my NL A1 did work very well during our Ecuador tour (115V).

Hello guys!

I received a Nord Electro 6d from Germany two days ago and was set as Europe 230v and a fuse of 125 mA 250v. Because I live in US I opened the top and switch inside from 230v to 115v. The piano was turn on and is working well but I wonder If I need to change the fuse by the another one like 250 mA 115/125v In order to prevent any damage or there is no problem with?

Best Regards,
