I have a few follow-up notes.
First, seems like maybe the previous owner never, or hardly ever used the Aftertouch. Have noticed that the AT was stiff at first, but is gradually "warming up" or "softening up" a little.
To sure if that is normal for Fatar key beds?
Maybe my arms and wrists are developing new muscles and endurance.
Second, I HAVE NOTICED that AT is easier in the middle of the keyboard, then gets harder out towards the top or bottom notes. That also might be a simple factor of wear, not sure.
One thing I do wish the Nord KB Zones had was independent AT. I know Polyphonic AT is too much to ask for, but what would be amazingly helpful is, when I have AT on two zones, and I am playing left and right hand, that one AT pressure did not affect the program of the other.
Anyway, small gripes I know .... just little niggling things. I may just have to add a 2nd 88 note controller for what I want to do. Always set out to see how much "everything" I can handle on one keyboard.
The Nord comes damn close to being the single one keyboard I can take to just about any gig.
